Here is my take on the challenge featuring the Sunshine and Rainbows Make-It-Market kit by PTI. I used Peerless Watercolors for the background and rainbow, and splattered my card front with gesso mixed with a bit of water. Several sequins were added as a finishing touch.

Hey there!

Challenge #4 is underway over at Season's Greetings.

Here is your inspiration photo for the next two weeks if you choose to use it. Otherwise its always anything goes. Just remember that your card needs to be Christmas related..

For my card I used a digital image by Power Poppy called Chickadee in Barberry and colored it with my Prisma colored pencils. I added Wink of Stella to the snow on the branches to give it a bit of sparkle.

Now it's your turn. We would love to see you in our gallery. Stop by and play along and see what the rest of the team has created.

A new challenge starts today. This week we would like to see you include mittens on your card but this is totally optional.

I die cut and stamped the mittens that can be found in the Home for the Holidays StampTV kit by Gina K. Designs. The sentiment is from Tis the Sea-Sun also by GKD. I did a little water coloring to the background with my Gansai Tambi water colors.

To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

All patterned paper and card stock used for my projects today are included with the kit with the exception of the last card.

For my first card I went with clean and simple and lots of white space. My favorite type of card to make! You will also notice I love Nuvo drops, especially black.

For this card I did some masking and then sponged with various GKD inks, wild dandelion, peach bellini and bubblegum pink.

Here I randomly stamped three of the flower images on water color paper and colored them with my distress markers

I combined the birdie and sentiment from Happy Spring and half of the large image from Bold and Blooming to show how well these two sets work together. Coloring was done using my zig real color brush markers.

My last card features the new mini incentive stamp set Through Thick and Thin. I water colored the flower and leaves with my shimmery Gelatos. It's hard to tell from the pic but they really do sparkle.

Gina K Designs – StampTV Kit Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 1

13 March 2017

Hello and welcome to my first blog hop! I am so thrilled to be part of the Gina K. Design team and I hope to inspire you in some way. Thank you Gina for this wonderful opportunity!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new StampTV Kit! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Today, we are featuring the first stamp set called Bold and Blooming. These stamps are so much fun and versatile! These are perfect for spring! You will be able to create amazing card projects using this beautiful stamp set! Have fun and be creative!

This month, please welcome Carolyn King as a special guest designer to our blog hop! You may remember that Carolyn has been a member of our team in the past so we are all very excited that she is joining us in March to showcase her talents once again!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

All patterned paper and card stock used for my projects today are included with the kit.

For my first card I die cut the gorgeous large flowers with the dies that are included with this kit and inked them up with the following GKD inks, Spring Rain, Sweet Corn and Innocent Pink. For the leaves I used Jelly Bean Green. I cut a wide strip of chevron patterned paper from the Bold and Blooming paper pack included in the kit, stamped an image and adhered it towards the bottom of my card. Black Nuvo drops were added.

Here I layered all three stamped and die cut flowers to make one blossom. I cut a strip of cardstock and heat embossed it with extra fine white embossing powder and adhered it vertically to resemble a stem. Lastly, I added a die cut leaf and black Nuvo drops to the center of the flower.

For this one I stamped the large flowers in the background with blue lagoon, wild lilac and blue raspberry GKD inks and stamped the THANK YOU sentiment five times over the images. Quick and easy when you use a MISTI or other stamp positioner.

For my fourth card I stamped the large image, colored it in with my Zig Real Brush Markers and die cut it with a large double stitched circle die by Cottage Cutz.

For my last card I stamped only half of the large image to the side, colored it with my Zigs and adhered a strip of black cardstock with a heat embossed sentiment and Nuvo drops.
